 Victoria Justice - Gold/Shake (2013)

Victoria Justice, 20 years old,  is an actress, dancer and pop singer who played Tori Vega in Nickelodeon's show Victorious.

I don't have a lot of information about these songs, I thought They were from an Extended Play but according to some sites, Gold is from Victoria's debut album coming this year, so I decided to present you them as singles and not as an album or EP, but If you are a Victoria's fan and know something about this question, please comment below.

Gold

This song is a great summer jam and we can see that Victoria is really confident wen she sings: Hey, boy, watcha gonna do/ If you want me like I want you/ Then man up and make your move/ I'm Gold, Gold.

This pop song is really catchy and according to  MTV Buzzworthy's Byron Flitsch , On Gold she sets her acoustic vibe aside for a peppier sound that meshes flawlessly with the flirtatious, confident lyrics.

The song has received mixed and positive reviews so here it's not going to be different. 

Shake

So while I was searching to write this review I found Just Jared's article saying that Victoria Justice released her new debut single and a treat - Shake - which is another song from her upcoming album.

Again Victoria adores to put people dancing and singing with her catchy and fun songs and like Gold this song has summer written all over it.

I think people will like it and the teens will love it.

Victoria sings: Even if there’s people watching/Just because you like the song, Sometimes you gotta just shake, shake, shake, shake

And I really like this verse: Life is too short to be complicated

These songs are not smash hits but they are cool and Victoria's sweet and sometimes strong vocals are really fun to listen to.

Overall Evaluation:

I feel this is a nice start to Victoria's solo career and evaluating these songs as Teen-destined-songs I think I'm fair when I  give them 4 stars overall, but I think Shake is slightly better because of the bridge.
