Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop 

Miley is back and what can I say about this comeback? ...pretty warm

I personally don't like the way some artists try to remove their Disney Artist status, because I think there are more ways to change your audience without screwing your image.

I don't wanna talk about Miley's private life because I respect that so when i'm referring to "screwing your image" i'm referring to her music. I love Who Owns My Heart and Liberty Walk but songs about "Do what you want, you're free, forget the haters" are too much these days so We Can't Stop is not nothing new and Miley could do so much better.

The song was produced by Mike Will and co-written by the latter, Miley and Rock City.

The vocals are not horrible but they are not great either. She used to give us strong vocals that you can hear in Who Owns My Heart from Can't Be Tamed, for example, but it's something that's missing in this track.

This song suffers from the problem of trying to have catchy lyrics and it becomes ridiculous at a certian point:

Dancing with Miley
Doing whatever we want
This is our house
This is our rules

You can see that the instrumental is R&B influenced but I can't see nothing memorable there. It's hard in these days to find a memorable song and this song is totally forgettable.  

Miley's comeback is not lost at all, the album is not out yet so she can present us an (almost) perfect album.
We are waiting for you Miley.
