Kerli Top5

Kerli: Top5

This beauty is probably the most successful singer from Estonia and her songs are so catchy that they make you dance and sing.
I didn't know about her but when I listened to some of her songs it was easy for me to remember the lyrics and the songs from radio.
Kerli, 26, is a professional pop and alternative rock singer and songwriter that you may not know that much about her but some of her compositions include Demi Lovato's Skyscraper.
Kerli's discography has 2 albums - Love Is Dead from 2008 and Utopia from 2013 - and I'm going to write about my Kerli's favorite top 5 songs.

1 - Army Of Love (2011)

Kerli calls herself  a messiah who has to raise an army to fight for a different war: Love and Freedom.
As any leader she is sacrificing herself in the name of her followers so they have to be united to win this battle.
The whole world should join her and fight for this too.
I put my name on the line for love
Cause this is what I've been waiting for
I saw it all like a sign above
So follow me, follow me
Tell me baby that you love me (love me)
There's nothing higher, higher than me (me, me, me)
If love and freedom's all that we need (that we need)
Follow me, follow me

2 - Zero Gravity (2013)

This song is about love like almost every song of this artist.
Kerli sings about an arduous journey that she's been doing to find this magical love and when she finally finds him she feels free and every effort was worth it because the sadness is now gone.
Now she's home and she's so in love that it's like there's no gravity.
Feels like coming home
After traveling a million miles
I am not alone
Searching for starlight in the darkest skies
Complex surface
Laid out right before our eyes
Everything makes sense
Now that you are by my side

3 - Walking on Air (from Love Is Dead, 2008)

All I'm going to say is:
Are you brave enough to figure out?
Know that you could set your world on fire
If you are strong enough to leave your doubts
Feel it
Breathe it
Believe it
And you'll be walking on air
If you're strong enough, go on and discover this little Girl's story.

4 - Tea Party (from Almost Alice, 2010)

This is probably the funniest Kerli's song.
There's no love here, the lyrics is about a VIP Party where Good Manners are required.
Let's be traditional
and non-commissional
elbows down (down)
pinkies up (up)
That's the way you sip my cup
The instrumental has some pop rock influences that I mentioned above and the vocals are not that sweet and harmonic as the previous songs but it's a great dance song

5- Love Is Dead (from Love Is Dead, 2008)

I had to choose between Love Is Dead and The Lucky Ones but I opted for this beautiful rock influenced ballad.
Kerli sings about a break up that is making her whole world falling apart 'cause all that she wants has left her.
It's a simple song but meaningful.
This artist is always singing about love but her first "single" - this is a promotional single" - is about a break up and not a fairy tale love
This is the hardest part when you
Feel like fading
All that you had is become unreal
Collapsing and aching
All I want
All I want was right here
All of her videos are wonderful, magical and well produced so watch them and see how epic they are.
