Artist Of The Week - Cascada /// Top5
Artist Of The Week - Cascada /// Top5
As I promised you can read now my top 5.5) Everytime We Touch from Everytime We Touch
This song written by Stuart MacKillop, Maggie Reilly and Peter Risavy and produced by DJ Manian and Yanou was the first big hit of this eurodance group and received positive critics.
The song did a good performance on charts, conquered #1 on Ireland and Sweden and #2 on UK.
4) Evacuate The Dancefloor from Evacuate The Dancefloor
This song written by the previous writers of Eveyrtime We Touch was described by Music House as a "playful, sexy pop stomper that brings R&B, slinky soul and rap to the group's table for the first time. The track is still a euphoric, arms-in-the-air dancefloor anthem, but this time, its moves are more sophisticated, its sonic tricks cleverer and vocalist Natalie Horler's vocals both more personal and powerful than ever"
3) Au Revoir from Original Me
Again, the writers of this song are the same of those I mentioned before and the song is an electropop song with some basses and autotune that belongs to Original Me.
I personally like the lyrics because they are different and I feel like the vocalist is singing to an exhibitionist that she doesn't care about how great he is outside but she's never going to buy his show.
2) Original Me from Original Me
The best part of this song is the instrumental but I also love how irreverent the lyrics are.
I feel that this song says that we are original, there are no one like us and we will always be wanted by someone who loves us and thinks we are good for him. We will reveal our true selves with someone that we think that will deserve it.
More visible is the opposite part of what I wrote, the part that talks about how we will be smiling and pretending to be something we are not because we don't feel safe and comfortable with that person.
Of course that the lyrics are not that deep but we see what we wanna see right?
Didn't find a video. Sorry guys!
1) Pyromania from Original Me
This is my favorite song of Cascada. It is not the deepest song or the most beautiful ballad or best electropop song ever but It is catchy and always makes me wanna sing and dance.
The vocals are amazing, the video is well produced and I think you'll like it too.
Bonus: Night Nurse from Original Me
I promised you a post about my favorite album but I guess I just mentioned some of the best tracks of it (Original Me).
You should check Independence Day and Hungover too.
The album is flawless and you just keep getting blown away by this ladie's voice.
I'm a little late and I don't have time for more but Cascada is a great group that is here to cheer us up and make us dance.
